We are looking for a energetic, politically aware, and creative Political Strategist with a strong understanding of current affairs, governance, public policy, and political developments.

The candidate will be responsible for tracking daily political news, researching important issues, developing strategic insights, and creating engaging content for digital and social media platforms. The role requires a combination of political knowledge, analytical thinking, writing skills, and creative communication.

Key Responsibilities

1. Current Affairs & Political Research

* Monitor daily political developments at the local, state, national, and international levels.
- Track government policies, legislative developments, public announcements, and administrative decisions.
- Analyse speeches, press conferences, interviews, political statements, and media reports.
- Prepare daily news briefs, political updates, issue summaries, and research reports.
- Verify facts, statistics, quotations, and sources before publishing content.
- Identify emerging public issues and developments relevant to political communication.

1. Political Strategy & Analysis

* Conduct research on governance, public policy, constituency-level issues, and political developments.
- Prepare issue-based analyses, briefing notes, background documents, and strategic recommendations.
- Study public concerns and feedback to understand the issues affecting communities.
- Support the development of communication plans for public meetings, events, interviews, and media interactions.
- Track public announcements and policy commitments to support accurate, evidence-based communication.
- Assist with speech preparation, talking points, press statements, and debate briefs.

1. Content Creation & Digital Communication

* Create engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X, WhatsApp, and other relevant platforms.
- Write captions, short-form scripts, reels, explainer videos, articles, blogs, and social media posts.




- Convert complex political and policy developments into clear, accessible content.
- Develop creative concepts for posters, infographics, carousels, short videos, and digital campaigns.
- Prepare content calendars aligned with current affairs, public events, and organizational communication priorities.
- Coordinate with graphic designers, video editors, photographers, and digital marketing teams.
- Adapt content to the relevant language, audience, platform, and communication objective.

1. Media Monitoring & Reporting

* Monitor newspapers, television, digital publications, and credible online sources.
- Track major political narratives, public statements, and media coverage.
- Prepare daily media monitoring reports and summaries of significant developments.
- Maintain an organised archive of research materials, media references, and published content.
- Review content performance using relevant engagement and reach metrics.

1. Team Coordination & Execution

* Work closely with leadership, researchers, communication teams, and creative professionals.
- Deliver accurate, high-quality content within agreed deadlines.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling internal documents and unpublished information.
- Ensure content is fact-checked, consistent with approved messaging, and reviewed before publication.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Journalism, Mass Communication, Public Policy, Communications, or a related field; equivalent experience may also be considered.
- Strong knowledge of Indian politics, governance, public policy,



and current affairs.
- Excellent writing, editing, research, and analytical skills.
- Ability to write clear and compelling content in English.
- Knowledge of Tamil or other relevant regional languages is an advantage.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, digital content formats, and audience engagement metrics.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple assignments.
- Strong attention to detail, factual accuracy, and source verification.
- Basic knowledge of Canva, video editing tools, or content management platforms is an advantage.

Performance will be assessed based on:

- Collaboration, responsiveness, and adherence to editorial standards.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per hour
