This is an independent consulting role with Our Client, a leading management consulting firm is looking for a PMO Manager to provide end-to-end programme management support for the design and build of an insurance transformation program.

The role will sit at the centre of a multi-workstream programme spanning business design, technology architecture, core insurance platform implementation, cloud/platform engineering, data and AI capabilities, and operating-model development.

The successful candidate will ensure the programme maintains momentum, critical decisions are made promptly, and dependencies across client teams and external partners are actively managed.

Key responsibilities

- Develop and maintain the integrated programme plan across business and technology workstreams.
- Drive day-to-day tracking of milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues and decisions.
- Run programme governance, including daily project-team stand-ups, weekly workstream reviews and Steering Committee preparation.
- Produce clear, concise status reporting and executive-ready materials for senior stakeholders.
- Maintain RAID logs, decision logs, action trackers and dependency maps; ensure timely follow-through.
- Coordinate delivery across the client, consulting team, system integrator, core insurance platform provider, hyperscaler and other specialist partners.




- Support prioritisation and sequencing of work, identifying potential schedule, resource and delivery risks early.
- Track vendor commitments, delivery progress and open commercial or operational dependencies.
- Support budget tracking, resource planning and mobilisation of current workstreams or team members.
- Bring structure and practical problem-solving to a rapidly evolving programme environment.

Skills Required
- 5–9 years of experience in PMO, transformation delivery, technology programme management or consulting.
- Experience supporting complex, multi-workstream transformation programmes; financial services, insurance or regulated-industry exposure is preferred.
- Strong experience with programme plans, RAID management, governance packs, action tracking and executive reporting.
- Comfortable coordinating senior stakeholders and external vendors, with the confidence to challenge constructively and escalate appropriately.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage several priorities without losing sight of critical-path dependencies.
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills; able to turn complex delivery information into simple, decision-oriented communication.
- Experience working in agile, digital, cloud or technology-transformation environments is advantageous.
- Mumbai-based and available to work primarily from the client site.
- Immediate or short-notice availability is preferred.
