Role Summary:

The Plumbing Supervisor will oversee all plumbing operations across the university campus, ensuring proper installation, maintenance, and repair of water supply, drainage, and sanitation systems. The role involves supervising a team of plumbers, coordinating with facility management, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise daily plumbing activities including installation, repair, and maintenance of pipelines, fixtures, and water systems.

- Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and provide technical guidance to plumbing staff.

- Conduct routine inspections of campus plumbing infrastructure to identify issues and prevent breakdowns.

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and university standards.

- Maintain records of work orders, materials used, and maintenance schedules.





- Coordinate with other departments (electrical, civil, housekeeping) for integrated facility management.

- Manage inventory of plumbing tools, equipment, and spare parts.

- Report major issues to the Facilities/Administrative Officer and recommend corrective measures.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Diploma/ITI in Plumbing or relevant technical field.

- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in plumbing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

- Solid knowledge of water supply systems, drainage, and sanitation.

- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
