Job Opening: Rubber Plant Head / Plant Operations Manager

Location: Ranjangaon MIDC, Pune, Maharashtra

Experience: 10 years preferred

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on and responsible Plant Head to manage day-to-day operations of our rubber manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for production, raw material procurement, rubber compounding, mould development, staff management, and overall plant performance, ensuring smooth and effective operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee all day-to-day plant activities, production planning, and execution.
- Handle rubber compounding, mixing operations, and moulded rubber product manufacturing.
- Manage raw material planning, procurement, inventory, and supplier coordination.
- Coordinate with mould manufacturers for tooling development, trials, modifications, and sample approvals.
- Supervise and coordinate staff, operators, and workers to ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Monitor production quality, machine utilization, wastage, and manufacturing costs.
- Coordinate with customers and suppliers for technical and operational requirements.
- Ensure timely order execution, quality compliance, equipment maintenance, and workplace safety.
- Take ownership of plant performance and independently resolve operational issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Rubber Technology, Polymer Technology,



Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Practical experience in rubber compounding, mixing, moulding, and rubber manufacturing processes.
- Good understanding of rubber raw materials, formulations, and production planning.
- Experience in supplier management, mould development, and inventory control.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, coordination, and execution skills.
- Ability to manage staff independently and take complete ownership of plant operations.

Ideal Candidate: A hands-on professional who can take complete responsibility for running the plant, managing people and materials, solving daily problems, and ensuring that work gets completed on time with the required quality.
