- Overall responsibility for plant operations, production and maintenance.
- Plan and achieve production targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor plant efficiency, productivity, power and fuel consumption.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Safety, Stores and Dispatch teams.
- Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant equipment.
- Implement cost-control and productivity improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and statutory requirements.
- Monitor manpower utilization, shift operations and workforce productivity.
- Analyze daily/monthly production and operational MIS.
- Handle breakdowns, operational issues and coordination with senior management.
- Ensure optimum utilization of raw materials, manpower and machinery.
