1. Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible DRO Operator to operate and handle machining equipment fitted with a Digital Readout (DRO) system. The candidate should be able to read engineering drawings, perform accurate machining operations, measure components, and maintain the required quality standards.
1. Key Responsibilities

- Operate DRO-equipped milling machines and other applicable machining equipment.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and component specifications.
- Perform milling, drilling, boring, facing, and other machining operations as required.
- Set up workpieces, cutting tools, fixtures, and machine parameters.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Check component dimensions and maintain the required tolerances.
- Ensure production targets and delivery schedules are achieved.
- Inspect finished components and report quality issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and perform routine machine maintenance.
- Follow workplace safety rules and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain production and inspection records as required.

- Practical knowledge of DRO machine operation.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand tolerances.
- Knowledge of milling, drilling, and other machining processes.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments.
- Basic knowledge of cutting tools, speeds, and feeds.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

1. Educational Qualification and Experience

- ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- 1–3 years of relevant machining experience preferred.
- Freshers with relevant practical training may also be considered.
- Experience in precision machining will be an advantage.
