Job Title: Piping and Layout Engineer

Tecnimont is seeking a skilled Piping and Layout Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and development of piping systems, ensuring that they meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards. You will work collaboratively with other engineers and stakeholders to create efficient layouts that facilitate operational workflows while considering maintenance access and equipment placement.

Key Responsibilities

- Design piping systems in accordance with project specifications and industry standards
- Develop and review piping layouts, ensuring optimal routing and space utilization
- Collaborate with the project team to integrate piping design with other disciplines
- Conduct feasibility studies and numerous site surveys to support design decisions
- Prepare calculations, specifications, and technical reports related to piping systems
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software for modeling and drafting purposes
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in piping design
- Support construction teams during installation, providing technical guidance and troubleshooting as needed
- Participate in project meetings, contributing to discussions on design considerations and potential challenges

Skills and Tools Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in piping design and layout within the oil and gas, petrochemical, or related industries
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, or equivalent
- Strong understanding of piping codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, etc.)
- Knowledge of material selection and corrosion engineering principles
- Familiarity with 3D modeling software (e.g., PDMS, SmartPlant) is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities




- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in design work
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
