Role Description This is a full time, non-paid PHP Web Developer Intern role based in Bengaluru, structured as a hybrid position with some work-from-home flexibility. The intern will assist in developing and maintaining web applications using PHP, collaborating with senior developers to implement back-end logic and integrate front-end components. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, modular code, debugging and troubleshooting issues, and contributing to database interactions and API integrations.

The role involves working with the team to refine requirements, perform code reviews, and ensure that web solutions are performant, secure, and aligned with project goals.



The intern will also have opportunities to learn modern development practices, version control workflows, and basic deployment processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development with a focus on PHP and related frameworks.
- Candidates should possess skills in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and solid understanding of programming principles.
- Candidates should possess skills in Front-End Development, including basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Candidates should possess skills in general Software Development and Programming, including problem-solving and debugging.
- Familiarity with relational databases (such as MySQL), version control tools (such as Git), and basic web security concepts is beneficial.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to follow technical guidance and project specifications are important.
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree or diploma program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Willingness to learn, collaborate in a team environment, and adapt to hybrid working arrangements in Bengaluru is expected.
