Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate, experienced, and dedicated PGT English Teacher to teach senior secondary classes (Grades VI–XII) as per the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, strong subject knowledge, and the ability to inspire students to develop their language, literature, and critical-thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach English Language and Literature to Classes VI and XII as per CBSE guidelines.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, listening, and analytical skills.
- Prepare students for CBSE board examinations through regular assessments and revision sessions.
- Evaluate answer scripts, maintain academic records, and provide constructive feedback.
- Use innovative teaching methodologies and digital learning tools to enhance classroom engagement.
- Support students with different learning abilities through appropriate teaching strategies.




- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and school activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues and academic coordinators to improve teaching and learning outcomes.

Required Skills
- Excellent English language proficiency and communication skills.
- Robust knowledge of CBSE English syllabus, assessment patterns, and examination requirements.
- Effective classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Good lesson-planning, evaluation, and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in using smart boards and digital teaching tools.
- Ability to mentor students and support their academic and personal development.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Prior experience teaching in a CBSE-affiliated school.
- Familiarity with CBSE board examination preparation and competency-based learning.
- A student-centred approach with a commitment to academic excellence.
