Role Description The Owner at Outlier in Kochi will oversee local operations, strategic growth, and team leadership for the organization’s AI training initiatives. This full-time, in office role is responsible for setting business goals, managing budgets and resources, and ensuring alignment with the company’s global vision and standards. Daily activities include leading cross-functional teams, monitoring project performance, maintaining client and partner relationships, and implementing process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.

The Owner will also drive hiring and talent development, cultivate a positive and inclusive workplace culture, and represent Outlier in local industry and community engagements. This role requires hands-on involvement in operational decision-making and long-term planning to support sustainable expansion.

Qualifications

- Strong leadership and management skills, including experience overseeing teams, budgets, and operations in a technology or services organization.




- Business strategy and organizational development skills, with the ability to set goals, define KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including client relationship building, negotiation, and cross-cultural collaboration.
- Proven experience in project delivery and process optimization, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.
- Background in tech, AI, data, or related fields is highly beneficial; familiarity with AI training or digital platforms is a plus.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Technology, Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Kochi, demonstrate integrity and accountability, and foster a gender-neutral, inclusive, and non-discriminatory work environment.
