Role Summary

We are seeking a technically strong, hands-on Oracle ODI / ETL Developer to develop, migrate, rebuild and execute ODI/ETL workflows as part of an enterprise Oracle-to-Oracle database and data warehouse migration project.

The candidate will be responsible for ODI development, repository and integration configuration, SQL/PLSQL migration scripting, source-to-target data transformation, bulk loading, reconciliation and production migration support.

Key Responsibilities

- ODI Development & Migration: Develop, migrate and rebuild Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) mappings, packages, procedures, scenarios and load plans.
- ODI Configuration: Configure and support ODI repositories, topology, contexts, agents, physical/logical schemas, knowledge modules and environment migration.
- ETL Development: Design and execute extraction, transformation and loading workflows across Oracle EBS, ERP systems, Oracle databases and enterprise data warehouses.
- SQL/PLSQL Development: Build and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, packages and migration scripts.
- Data Migration Execution: Perform Oracle-to-Oracle bulk loading, incremental/delta loads, data transformations and automated migration activities.
- Data Warehouse Integration: Develop and migrate staging, fact/dimension, historical and aggregated data processing workflows.
- Data Mapping & Validation: Implement source-to-target mappings, business transformation rules, reconciliation checks and exception-handling processes.
- Performance Optimization: Tune ODI jobs, SQL queries and ETL processes to support large-volume data migration.
- Testing & Cutover: Execute unit testing, integration testing, mock migrations, production loads and post-migration troubleshooting.
- Documentation: Maintain ODI technical specifications, mapping documents, migration scripts, job execution logs and handover documentation.





Mandatory Technical Skills

- Oracle ODI 12c: Strong hands-on experience with ODI Studio, repositories, topology, agents, mappings, packages, scenarios and load plans.
- SQL/PLSQL: Advanced Oracle SQL, PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages and performance tuning.
- ETL Development: Proven experience designing, developing, modifying and rebuilding complex ETL workflows.
- Oracle-to-Oracle Migration: Hands-on experience with data extraction, transformation, bulk loading and incremental/delta migration.
- ODI Environment Migration: Experience with ODI object deployment, repository configuration, topology changes and migration between environments.
- Data Warehousing: Solid knowledge of staging tables, fact/dimension models, data warehouse loading and transformation logic.
- Data Reconciliation: Source-to-target record validation, transformation checks, data integrity and exception resolution.
- Performance & Troubleshooting: ODI job monitoring, error handling, SQL tuning and high-volume ETL optimization.

Preferred Skills

- Oracle EBS/ERP source integration and data structures.
- Oracle Data Pump, SQL*Loader and Linux/Unix shell scripting.
- ODI knowledge modules, automation and scheduling.
- Familiarity with OBIEE/OAS data connectivity and downstream reporting dependencies.
- Experience in Oracle data warehouse modernization or migration projects.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5–8 years of experience in Oracle ETL development, ODI and database migration.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on Oracle ODI development experience.
- Experience in at least one end-to-end Oracle data migration or enterprise ETL modernization project.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, technical documentation and independent execution capabilities.

Mandatory Selection Criteria: Candidates must have hands-on ODI development, SQL/PLSQL scripting, ETL migration and production data loading experience. Profiles limited to ODI administration, ETL testing, BI reporting or application support will not be considered.
