Role Description The Optometrist will provide comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose vision problems, and prescribe corrective lenses or treatments for patients in an on-site clinical setting in Hyderabad. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing visual acuity, performing refraction and binocular vision tests, evaluating eye health, and identifying conditions that may require medical or surgical referral.

The Optometrist will educate patients on eye care, lens options, and preventive measures, while maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring adherence to regulatory and safety standards.



The role will also involve collaborating with other healthcare and technology professionals to support high-quality patient experiences and potentially contribute insights to vision-related AI initiatives or digital solutions. This is a full-time, in office role based in Hyderabad.

Qualifications

- Clinical optometry skills, including comprehensive eye examinations, refraction, binocular vision assessment, and contact lens fitting.
- Ability to diagnose and manage common ocular conditions, with sound knowledge of ocular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Strong patient communication and counseling skills, including the ability to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive eye care clearly.
- Proficiency in using standard optometric instruments and diagnostic equipment (e.g., autorefractors, slit lamps, tonometers, visual field analyzers).
- Attention to detail and accurate clinical documentation skills, with familiarity in using electronic medical or practice management systems.
- Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care, and adherence to relevant clinical, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to technology-driven workflows.
- Degree in Optometry from a recognized institution; valid registration or license as required by local regulations.
- Prior clinical experience in optometry; experience in high-volume practices or corporate eye care centers is an advantage.
