Role Description The Online Tutor role at One Tutor Learning is a full-time hybrid position based in Quilon, with flexibility for some work from home. In this role, the tutor will conduct live 1-to-1 online sessions in Mathematics and Science for students in Grades 5 to 12 across CBSE, ICSE, and State syllabi.

Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering structured lessons, assessing student understanding, providing timely feedback, and adapting teaching methods to individual learning styles. The tutor will also track academic progress, maintain clear communication with students and caregivers,



and use digital tools and the platform’s resources to create an engaging and supportive learning environment. Occasional in-person meetings, training sessions, or coordination activities in Quilon may be required to ensure alignment with academic standards and platform expectations.

Qualifications

- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and/or Science for Grades 5–12, with familiarity across CBSE, ICSE, or State syllabi.
- Demonstrated teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt methods to different learning needs.
- Proficiency in using online teaching tools and digital platforms, including video conferencing, interactive whiteboards, and learning management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to provide constructive feedback and maintain skilled, empathetic learner interactions.
- Organizational and time-management skills to plan lessons, manage schedules, and consistently meet academic and platform expectations.
- Comfort working in a hybrid setup in Quilon, with a reliable internet connection for remote sessions and readiness for occasional in-person engagements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or a related field; formal teacher training or certification is an advantage.
- High level of patience, integrity, and commitment to student success, with an interest in personalized and learner-centered education.
