Role DescriptionSK Engineering is urgently hiring experienced Offshore Structural Engineers for two full-time, on-site positions in Navi Mumbai:

- 1 Lead Offshore Structural Engineer
- 1 Senior Offshore Structural Engineer

The selected engineers will perform and review structural analysis and design for offshore facilities, platforms, modules, equipment supports and associated structures. They will prepare engineering calculations, analysis models, design reports, specifications and other technical deliverables in accordance with applicable codes, client requirements and project procedures. The role also involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, participating in design reviews, resolving technical issues and ensuring that deliverables meet project quality and schedule requirements. The Lead Engineer will additionally provide technical leadership, review team output, mentor engineers and coordinate with clients and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and review offshore structural analysis and design models.
- Perform in-place, operating, lifting, transportation and other project-specific structural assessments.
- Prepare and check structural calculations, design reports and technical specifications.
- Review engineering drawings, models and fabrication-related deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with applicable international codes, standards and client specifications.
- Coordinate with piping, pipeline, mechanical, process,



marine and other engineering disciplines.
- Participate in technical reviews, client meetings and interdisciplinary checks.
- Identify technical risks and support the timely resolution of engineering issues.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers, particularly at the Lead level.
- Maintain the required standards of quality, safety and document control.

Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, Offshore or a related engineering discipline.
- Relevant professional experience in offshore structural engineering within the oil and gas or energy sector.
- Strong, hands-on proficiency in STAAD.Pro is essential.
- Experience with SACS, ANSYS or other relevant structural analysis software is advantageous.
- Sound knowledge of structural analysis, steel design, load combinations and offshore design principles.
- Familiarity with relevant API, AISC, DNV, ISO or other applicable industry standards.
- Ability to independently prepare and review calculations, reports, drawings and technical documentation.
- Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical communication skills.
- Previous experience as a Lead or Senior Engineer on offshore projects is strongly preferred.
