Office 365 Architect (O365 / Exchange Migration)

Required Skills / Expertise

Required Mandatory experience

? Hands-on leadership of Exchange to O365 migration experience is a must.

? Experience with third party migration tools for Exchange Server and Office 365.

? Significant experience within a large-scale Windows Enterprise customer/employer.

? Hygiene solutions such as: IronPort, EOP (ATP), message labs experience is a plus.

? Solid understanding of Microsoft Exchange 2007, 2010, 2013, O365.Understanding of Active

Directory Active Directory Federation Services.

? Understanding of Public Folder and PST migration complexities.

? Solid understanding of ITIL/ITSM best practices.

? Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.

? Experience with Veritas Enterprise Vault and other archiving system is a plus.

? Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

? Certifications in this field are a plus.

Required industry experience

? Office 365 architect requires prior Office 365 mailbox migration experience, scheduling migration batches and process management.

? Knowledge of several of the following areas: infrastructure solutions (especially Microsoft), cloud technologies, networking, data center operations, platform migration and enterprise directories.





? Knowledge of operation management, systems security, testing, databases and mobility considerations.

Required Technical experience

? Consulting experience with large scale migrations to Microsoft Office 365 or Azure.

? Knowledge of cloud technologies, including enterprise or hosting provider services SaaS, PaaS and IaaS Solutions.

? Knowledge of cloud system engineering principles and considerations.

? Experience with and/or deep understanding of Microsoft collaboration stack including Office 365, Exchange SharePoint Online.

? Experience with PowerShell, PowerShell Workflow and troubleshooting PowerShell ISE

? Knowledge of IT security risks.

? Working knowledge of following technologies: ? Valuable to have Service Management Automation (SMA) and/or Windows Azure Pack (WAP) or Azure Stack.

? Microsoft Identify Manager, Forefront Identity Manager and/or 3rd party Identity Solutions.

? Microsoft System Center (VMM, OM, SM, Orchestrator).

? Hyper-V (VMware, KVM hypervisor exposure desired).

? Identity Management (Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Identity Manager/FIM)

? O365, Exchange and Exchange Online.

? Experience with Quest Software.
