Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Informatica PowerCenter Developer with strong hands-on expertise in ETL development, data integration, and data warehousing.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise-scale ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter, while working closely with business and technical teams to deliver reliable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Informatica PowerCenter mappings, mapplets, workflows, and sessions.
- Develop robust and scalable ETL solutions based on business and technical requirements.
- Work with multiple source systems and target databases for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data validation, transformation, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Informatica workflows and resolve production issues.
- Perform performance tuning of Informatica mappings, workflows, and SQL queries.
- Conduct data validation and ensure data quality across ETL processes.
- Support deployment and migration of Informatica workflows across development, testing, and production environments.
- Analyze and resolve data-related incidents within defined SLAs.
- Work closely with business analysts, data architects, database teams, and other technical stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes and solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development and data engineering best practices.
- Support enhancements,



maintenance, and production support activities for existing data platforms.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 3 - 7 years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
- Strong understanding of ETL and data integration concepts.
- Strong experience with Informatica mappings, workflows, sessions, transformations, and scheduling.
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Experience in performance tuning of Informatica workflows and SQL queries.
- Experience working in enterprise production environments.
- Positive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have:

- Experience with Oracle databases.
- Exposure to Informatica BDM / IICS.
- Familiarity with Hadoop / Cloudera ecosystem.
- Exposure to Spark / PySpark.
- Experience working in Banking / Financial Services or other large enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of Unix / Linux scripting.
- Exposure to scheduling tools and version control systems.
