About the role

As a Newborn Care Nurse / Specialist, you will provide dedicated, one-to-one care for newborns and support parents with their baby’s everyday needs. Assignments typically focus on the first three months after birth, with some extending up to six months.

You will work with families who value professional, attentive and discreet care, including high-profile households.

This is a specialised newborn-care role—not a nanny, domestic-help, elder-care or general attendant position. General housekeeping, family cooking and unrelated household duties are not part of the role.

Key responsibilities

- Provide attentive newborn care: Support feeding, burping, diaper changes, bathing, hygiene and secure settling, following Ma Vie House’s care protocols.
- Support feeding and breastfeeding: Offer practical assistance within your training and scope, with guidance from our lactation specialists. Refer concerns that require specialist assessment.
- Help parents build confidence: Demonstrate baby-care techniques, answer questions within your scope and support parents without judgement.




- Observe, document and communicate: Maintain clear records of feeds, sleep, diaper changes and relevant observations. Promptly escalate health or feeding concerns through the appropriate channels.
- Maintain safe, professional care: Keep baby-care equipment and the immediate care area clean, follow safety and infection-prevention practices, and respect each family’s privacy.
- Continue learning: Participate in structured training, regular skill-development sessions and feedback discussions with the Ma Vie House team.

Who we are looking for
- GNM or B.Sc. Nursing-qualified nurses with valid nursing registration.
- Experience in newborn, neonatal, maternity, postnatal or paediatric care is preferred. Motivated fresh graduates with a genuine interest in newborn care are also welcome to apply.
- A patient, gentle and dependable approach, with strong observation and communication skills.
- Professionalism, discretion and respect for different family preferences and cultural backgrounds.
- Willingness to learn, follow care protocols and work day, night or live-in assignments according to the agreed placement. Openness to travel or relocation is an advantage.
