New Product Development (NPD) Manager – Steel Fabrication

Location: Puducherry, Pondicherry

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech

We are looking for an experienced New Product Development (NPD) Manager to lead product development from concept to production in the steel fabrication industry. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of fabrication, materials, BOM, tooling, prototypes, and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities o Manage end-to-end recent product development from requirements to production readiness.

o Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and material grades.

o Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and product documentation.

o Coordinate prototypes, samples, tooling, trials, and product validation.

o Work with design, production, quality, procurement, and suppliers.

o Track project timelines and resolve technical development issues.





Required Skills & Qualifications o B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or a relevant engineering discipline.

o 8–10 years of experience in NPD, product development, or manufacturing.

o Strong experience in steel fabrication; scaffolding or construction props experience preferred.

o Knowledge of fabrication processes, material specifications, BOM, casting, and tooling.

o Strong planning, coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
