- As a Network Security Engineer specializing in Zscaler, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing network security solutions using the Zscaler cloud security platform

- This role involves collaborating with IT teams, understanding security requirements, and ensuring the effective deployment and maintenance of Zscaler to protect the organization's network and data

Key Responsibilities

- Requirements Analysis:Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze network security requirements

- Understand business processes and data flows to design effective security solutions

- Zscaler Implementation:Design and implement Zscaler solutions to secure internet traffic, providing cloud-based security for users

- Configure and optimize Zscaler policies based on security and compliance requirements

- Integration with Networking Infrastructure:Ensure seamless integration of Zscaler with the organization's networking infrastructure

- Collaborate with network engineers to optimize traffic routing and connectivity

- Secure Web Gateway (SWG):Implement and manage Zscaler as a Secure Web Gateway, protecting users from malicious web content and threats





- Configure web filtering policies to enforce acceptable use policies

- Cloud Application Security Broker (CASB):Utilize Zscaler as a CASB to monitor and secure interactions with cloud applications

- Implement policies for data loss prevention (DLP) and access controls

- Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA):Implement Zero Trust principles using Zscaler for secure access to applications and data

- Configure ZTNA policies to ensure secure access based on user identity and device posture

- Threat Intelligence Integration:Integrate threat intelligence feeds with Zscaler to enhance threat detection and response capabilities

- Monitor and analyze security events for potential incidents

- Incident Response:Collaborate with the incident response team to investigate and respond to security incidents

- Implement remediation measures and lessons learned for continuous improvement

- User Training:Provide training and awareness sessions for end-users on secure internet usage and the role of Zscaler

- Create documentation and guidelines for secure browsing practices

- Performance Optimization:Optimize Zscaler configurations for performance and efficiency

- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of Zscaler security controls
