Role Description

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on .NET Technical Lead to drive the modernization of a legacy .NET Framework platform into a cloud-native, AI-augmented solution. You will lead the offshore engineering team, turn direction from onshore architects and the client into high-quality, on-time delivery, and embed agentic-AI practices across the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the offshore team in migrating legacy .NET Framework applications to .NET 10+, using agentic-AI tooling across the SDLC (code generation, testing, code review, release orchestration)
- Translate onshore architecture and migration direction into detailed designs, work breakdowns, and sprint plans
- Apply defined migration patterns across the Advisor platform and suggest modernization improvements
- Build and review cloud-native solutions on Azure, including messaging, data, and integration patterns
- Set and enforce coding standards, code review practices, and quality guardrails, including AI-assisted workflows
- Conduct code and design reviews and mentor team members with clear, actionable feedback
- Drive DevOps and AI-augmented SDLC practices: CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure as code, agentic workflow orchestration
- Provide regular delivery status and input for client presentations, partnering with the onshore team
- Identify technical and delivery risks early and escalate with proposed mitigations
- Contribute ideas on integrating AI/ML and agentic capabilities into the Advisor platform and the team's delivery practices

Technical Skills

1. Required Skills & Experience

- 10 to 12 years of software development experience, including 4 to 5 years leading development teams




- Expert-level C# and .NET 10+; hands-on .NET Framework to .NET 10+ migration experience
- Practical use of agentic-AI and AI-assisted development tools in the SDLC (AI pair-programming, automated code review and testing, AI-driven pipeline orchestration)
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cosmos DB: data modelling, partitioning, and performance optimization
- Solid knowledge of Azure Service Bus and event-driven/messaging patterns
- Full-stack experience with a React front end on top of .NET back-end services, including micro-frontend architectures and an understanding of how backend design affects frontend scalability and performance
- Experience building microservices, API-first, and cloud-native applications
- Proficiency with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, API Management, Key Vault, and Azure DevOps
- Good understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, and Event Sourcing
- RESTful API design, versioning, and security best practices
- Hands-on experience integrating Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Services, or similar LLM platforms, including agent-based approaches and AI-powered APIs

Strong communication skills, with experience working with onshore teams and contributing to client-facing

- Experience in the wealth management domain ands React full stack experience
- Prior client-facing consulting or professional services delivery experience

Qualifications

- Experience: Significant experience in system design, development, and optimization. Prior experience in a principal or senior engineering role is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in an agile team environment.
