We are looking for experienced Microsoft Fabric professionals across two focus areas: Microsoft Fabric Data Engineering and Microsoft Fabric Platform Administration. Candidates with strong hands-on expertise in either area are encouraged to apply.

Role 1: Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Microsoft Fabric.
- Build and optimise Lakehouse, Warehouse, Dataflows Gen2, Pipelines, Notebooks, and Spark workloads.
- Develop data transformation solutions using advanced SQL, Python, and PySpark.
- Integrate Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, and Power BI.
- Implement data modelling, data quality, performance optimisation, and governance.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver analytics-ready datasets in an Agile setting.

Role 2: Senior Microsoft Fabric Administrator / Data Engineer

- Administer Fabric capacities, workspaces, domains, OneLake, and enterprise platform configurations.
- Monitor platform health and utilisation using Fabric Admin APIs, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and activity logs.
- Handle production incidents,



troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, recovery, and disaster recovery.
- Optimise capacity, compute, storage, concurrency, workload scheduling, and platform costs.
- Implement security and compliance using Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Conditional Access, Microsoft Purview, and audit controls.
- Support enterprise data operations and collaborate with Data Engineering, Architecture, Security, Risk, and Infrastructure teams.

Mandatory Skills

- Microsoft Fabric: Lakehouse, Warehouse, Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, Notebooks, OneLake, and Spark.
- Azure Data Services: Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake / Storage.
- Advanced SQL, Python, PySpark, ETL/ELT, and data modelling.
- Strong understanding of data pipeline development, platform administration, monitoring, and performance optimisation.
- Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, and data governance.
- Experience with enterprise data platforms and production workloads.

Good to Have

- Financial Services / Banking experience, particularly Treasury, Risk, Finance, or Compliance data.
- Azure Databricks, Key Vault, Power BI, Microsoft Purview, Informatica, Control-M, ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps, or Git.
- Knowledge of GDPR, BCBS 239, ITIL, disaster recovery, and Microsoft Azure / Fabric certifications, including DP-700.
