Key Responsibilities

- Food and Menu Management – Prepare daily and weekly menus, ensuring nutritious, hygienic, and balanced meals.
- Kitchen Supervision – Supervise cooks, kitchen assistants, servers, and other mess staff.
- Food Quality Control – Ensure food quality, taste, freshness, portion size, and hygiene standards.
- Purchase and Inventory Management – Monitor the purchase, storage, and stock of groceries, vegetables, provisions, and kitchen supplies.
- Budget and Expense Control – Maintain food expenditure within the approved budget and minimize wastage.
- Hygiene and Sanitation – Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, dining hall, washing area, and food storage facilities.
- Staff Duty Allocation – Assign duties, monitor attendance, and maintain discipline among mess employees.




- Meal Timing and Service – Ensure meals are prepared and served on time according to the institutional schedule.
- Student and Staff Feedback – Address complaints and suggestions regarding food quality, quantity, and service.
- Records and Documentation – Maintain stock registers, purchase bills, daily consumption records, food expenditure statements, and staff attendance.
- Food Safety Compliance – Ensure secure food handling, proper storage temperatures, pest control, and compliance with applicable food safety requirements.
- Coordination with Management – Submit periodic reports on mess operations, expenditure, maintenance needs, and performance.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
