The Medical Advisor for the Aesthetic Division at BTL India Private Limited bridges the scientific, clinical, and commercial aspects of non-invasive aesthetic medical technologies (such as EMSCULPT, EXILIS, EMSELLA, and EMFACE).

This role ensures that healthcare professionals (dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and aesthetic physicians) receive clinical guidance, treatment protocol training, and evidence-based scientific support.

Key Responsibilities

1. Clinical Training & Protocol Guidance

- Doctor Training: Conduct clinical demonstrations, workshops, and hands-on training sessions for dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and aesthetic practitioners on BTL aesthetic equipment.
- Protocol Optimization: Develop, customize, and refine patient treatment protocols and parameter guidelines based on individual clinical needs and aesthetic indications.
- Onsite Support: Provide post-installation clinical handholding to ensure clinics safely operate equipment to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.

2. Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Engagement & Scientific Support

- KOL Management: Build and maintain strategic relationships with key opinion leaders, top dermatologists, and aesthetic physicians across India.
- Medical Literature & Data: Synthesize clinical research, trial data, and peer-reviewed studies supporting BTL technologies to present scientific rationale to doctors.
- Medical Writing & Presentations: Prepare scientific presentations, white papers, case study reports, and clinical collateral for regional and national aesthetic conferences.

3. Medico-Marketing & Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Sales Enablement:



Support the sales team during high-level technical/medical queries from prospective clients and healthcare centers.
- Scientific Verification: Review marketing materials, brochures, and promotional content to ensure clinical accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Product Insights: Gather direct clinical feedback and market trends from practitioners to feed back into local marketing and central product teams.

4. Event Management & Clinical Seminars

- Conferences & Workshops: Represent BTL India at major aesthetic industry conferences (e.g., DERMACON, Cosmecon) and lead live demonstrations.
- Webinars & Masterclasses: Conceptualize and host clinical webinars or roundtable discussions on advances in non-invasive body contouring, skin tightening, and facial rejuvenation.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s / Master’s in Allied Health Sciences or Medical degrees (BDS, BAMS, BHMS, or MBBS).
- Specialized exposure or training in Aesthetics, Dermatology, or Laser/Energy-Based Devices (EBD) is highly preferred.
- 2–6 years of experience as a Clinical Specialist, Medical Advisor, or Application Trainer in medical device, aesthetic equipment, or dermatology/cosmetology companies.

Key Skills

- Solid understanding of human anatomy, skin physiology, bio-physics of energy-based aesthetic devices (RF, HIFEM, Ultrasound).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for peer-to-peer interactions with doctors.
- Willingness to travel extensively across designated regions in India for client trainings and medical events.
