Reporting To

Design Engineer / Senior Engineer / Technical Lead – PD&E;

Role Purpose To support product development and engineering activities through CAD design engineering documentation, ensuring timely and quality execution under the guidance of technical leads.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design & Engineering Support

- Perform CAD modeling and detailing using tools Creo/Windchill
- Develop and update 2D/3D engineering drawings

2. Documentation & Release Management

- Support drawing release processes in PLM systems
- Maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Support prototype/sample build processes
- Coordinate with internal teams for development execution

6. Process Compliance

- Follow defined engineering standards, checklists, and templates




- Ensure adherence to quality and documentation processes

Role Boundaries

- Works under guidance of Design Engineers / Technical Leads
- Does not independently own design concepts or final decisions
- Limited customer interaction unless assigned
- Focus on execution, coordination, and supporting activities

Key Skills & Competencies

- Proficiency in CAD tools (Creo) and PLM systems (Windchill)
- Understanding of engineering drawings, and BOM structures
- Basic knowledge of product development lifecycle
- Solid execution skills
- Attention to detail and adherence to engineering standards

Education & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 0–5 years of experience in design engineering / product development support
