Role Description The Mcal Developer will design, develop, and maintain Microcontroller Abstraction Layer (MCAL) software components used in embedded and automotive systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing and integrating low-level drivers, optimizing back-end code, debugging and resolving software defects,



and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and customer specifications. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams to review requirements, participate in design discussions, perform code reviews, and support system integration and validation activities.

This is a full time, on-site position based in Bengaluru South, requiring hands-on work with hardware and development tools as part of daily activities.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, including experience with C for embedded systems.
- 3–6 years of experience in embedded or automotive software development, preferably with MCAL or low-level driver development.
- Familiarity with AUTOSAR architecture, microcontrollers, communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C), and hardware-software integration.
- Ability to read and interpret hardware datasheets and schematics, and work with lab equipment for debugging and validation.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Effective communication skills, collaborative mindset, and ability to work in an on-site team environment in Bengaluru South.
