: Maths Teacher

Job Summary:

A Mathematics Teacher plans and delivers math lessons, evaluates student progress, and builds critical-thinking and problem-solving skills across elementary, middle, or high school grade levels.

Key Responsibilities

- Lesson Planning & Delivery: Design and present age-appropriate math lessons (covering topics like algebra, geometry, calculus, or statistics) using clear examples and interactive tools.
- Assessment & Grading: Create, administer, and grade quizzes, tests, homework, and major projects.
- Student Support: Provide individual or small-group help for struggling students, and offer enrichment or advanced work for high achievers.
- Progress Tracking: Document student performance, maintain gradebooks, and share updates during parent-teacher conferences.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, disciplined, and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation.
- Collaboration: Attend staff meetings, work with math departments to align curricula, and participate in school events.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field (a Master’s degree is often preferred or required for advanced high school or college-prep tracks).
- Licensure/Certification:



State, national, or regional teaching certification/licensure for public schools (requirements may vary or be flexible in private or international institutions).
- Subject Knowledge: Deep understanding of mathematical concepts, formulas, equations, and real-world applications.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to explain abstract or complex ideas in simple, relatable terms to students, and communicate clearly with parents and colleagues.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with digital learning platforms, educational software, and graphing or calculation tools
