Curated Corridors

India

Curated Corridors is a boutique cultural travel company creating thoughtfully curated small-group journeys to India for travellers from Canada and the United States.

We’re looking for a part-time team member to support our growing business across sales outreach, marketing coordination, research and partnerships.

This role is a good fit for someone who is curious, resourceful, highly organized and comfortable taking ownership of clearly defined tasks. You should enjoy researching, communicating with people, keeping track of details and turning information into practical next steps.

Because we are a growing business, the role will be varied. Priorities may shift from week to week, and we are looking for someone who is adaptable, proactive and interested in gaining hands-on experience across different areas of a travel startup.

What you will work on:

Sales & Partnership Outreach

- Research and identify prospective customers based on target criteria provided
- Identify potential partners, collaborators, communities, organizations and other business-development opportunities
- Conduct outreach to prospective leads and follow up with existing leads
- Draft and send partnership outreach and follow-up communications
- Maintain accurate lead, outreach and follow-up trackers
- Help ensure opportunities and follow-ups do not fall through the cracks
- Conduct basic research before outreach to help personalize communications where appropriate

Marketing Coordination

- Support the management and growth of our online communities, including Facebook groups
- Assist with content development for social media, websites, email and other marketing materials based on provided direction
- Research topics and information to support content development
- Assist with simple marketing assets and updates using tools such as Canva

- Support campaign coordination and other marketing activities as needed
- Strong copywriting skills are an asset

Research

- Conduct primary and secondary research across travel, consumer, competitor and business topics
- Research destinations, hotels, cultural experiences, itineraries and travel trends
- Identify and compare potential suppliers, experiences and partnership opportunities
- Communicate with destination management companies, hotels and other travel partners to gather information
- Turn research into clear, concise summaries, recommendations and reports
- Use AI tools thoughtfully to support research, drafting, organization and productivity

Business Support

- Support ongoing projects and administrative coordination as business priorities evolve
- Keep shared documents, trackers and research organized and up to date
- Flag missing information, outstanding follow-ups or potential issues rather than waiting to be asked
- Take ownership of assigned tasks from start to completion, including following up where necessary

What we're looking for

- Robust written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent research skills and an ability to synthesize information rather than simply collect it
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly organized and comfortable managing several small projects at once
- Reliable follow-through and a strong sense of ownership
- Able to work independently once expectations and direction are clear

- Comfortable reaching out to new people, businesses and organizations
- Curious, proactive and willing to ask thoughtful questions
- Comfortable receiving feedback and applying it to future work
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a small, entrepreneurial environment where priorities can evolve
- Genuine interest in travel, culture, hospitality and/or the travel industry
- Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT responsibly as part of day-to-day work

Nice to have

- Background or education in business, marketing, communications, tourism or hospitality
- Social media or community-management experience
- Copywriting or content-writing experience
- Canva experience
- Experience with lead generation, CRM systems, outreach or business development
- Previous experience working in a startup or small business environment

Role Structure Part-time, approximately 8–12 hours per week to start.

The role will begin with an initial trial period to ensure there is a good fit on both sides. During this period, we will assess factors such as quality of work, reliability, communication, ownership, responsiveness to feedback and ability to work independently.

Hours, level of responsibility and ongoing involvement may increase over time based on performance, business needs and demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects.

This is a remote role. Working hours are generally flexible, although some availability during weekday business hours will be helpful for supplier, partner and outreach communications.

Hourly compensation will be based on experience.

This is primarily a marketing, research and business-development role within a travel company. It is not a travel-advisor, tour-hosting or travel-planning position.
