Run the workshop. Make the parts. Keep the machines moving.
We design and build industrial automation for the material handling sector — conveyors, packaging machines, palletising systems and special-purpose machinery — and the parts that go into them are fabricated and machined in-house.
As a Junior Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll manage that workshop. You’ll read manufacturing drawings, plan the day’s production, lead the operators on the shop floor, check the quality of what we make and make sure the right material is there when it’s needed.
You’ll also help design current processes, fixtures and equipment — to bring new products onto the floor and make existing ones better, faster and cheaper to build.
What you’ll work on
- Fabrication of machine frames, guarding and structures
- Machining of shafts, brackets and machine components
- Jigs, fixtures and shop-floor equipment
- Manufacturing processes for new and existing products
- Production planning, material flow and shop-floor records
What you’ll do
- Manage day-to-day operations of the fabrication and machining workshop
- Read and interpret manufacturing drawings, and plan how each part will be made
- Prepare daily manufacturing plans and track progress against them
- Lead and coordinate the operators and workers on the shop floor
- Inspect and QC finished components against drawings
- Plan and organise the availability of raw material and finished goods
- Design new systems, equipment and processes for new products, and improve existing ones
- Keep statistical and financial records, and work with finance to manage budgets
What you’ll learn Fabrication and machining. Reading drawings and GD&T.; Process planning. Quality inspection. Production planning. Material and inventory management. Leading a shop-floor team. Shop-floor costing and budgets. And, because design, fabrication, assembly and controls happen under one roof, how a complete automation machine is actually built.
How you’ll grow
You’ll start by learning how our workshop runs — our machines, our people, our drawings and our standards.
As you build confidence, you’ll move from planning daily jobs → owning quality and material → improving processes → running the workshop and its budget.
We don’t expect you to know everything on Day 1. We expect you to be curious, organised and willing to learn.
You might be a great fit if…
- You’d rather be on the shop floor making things than behind a desk all day.
- You can look at a drawing and work out how the part should be made.
- You’re organised — you like plans, checklists and knowing where things stand.
- You’re comfortable leading a team and getting work done through people.
- You care about quality, and won’t let a bad part leave the workshop.
What we’re looking for
- Graduation in Mechanical or Production Engineering from a reputed institution.
- 0 to 2 years’ experience in manufacturing, fabrication or machining (fresh graduates welcome).
- Able to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel for planning and record-keeping.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
Benefits
- Cell phone reimbursement
- Paid time off
Work Location: In person
