1. Primary Competencies

- Review software requirements, functional specifications, and business workflows to understand expected system behavior.

- Prepare detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data aligned with defined requirements.

- Execute manual testing to verify application functionality, usability, and compliance with business requirements.

- Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and exploratory testing.

- Conduct detailed log analysis to identify root causes of issues and validate system behavior.

- Identify, document, track, and retest software defects with transparent reproduction steps and expected vs. actual results.

- Validate database impacts and data integrity using SQL queries.

- Prepare and maintain test execution reports, defect logs, test evidence, and test summary documentation.

- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve ambiguities, and ensure quality throughout the SDLC.

1. Additional Competencies

- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.





- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

- Practical knowledge of manual testing techniques, test case design, and defect life cycle management.

- Familiarity with bug-tracking and test-management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).

- Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.

- Understanding of client-server architecture, APIs, and request/response validation.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to document testing activities with precision and clarity.
