Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Production skilled to manage and oversee manufacturing operations at our caffeine manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in caffeine production, process optimization, plant operations, quality compliance, and production team management.

Candidates with direct experience in caffeine manufacturing plants will be given the highest preference.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end production operations at the caffeine manufacturing plant to achieve production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor and control manufacturing processes, including raw material handling, process parameters, yield optimization, and finished product output.
- Ensure smooth plant operations through effective manpower planning, equipment utilization, and production scheduling.
- Optimize production processes to improve productivity, process efficiency, yield, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards, SOPs, GMP requirements, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, and other departments to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Monitor batch records, production documentation, process deviations,



and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), as applicable.
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement corrective measures to minimize downtime, wastage, and production losses.
- Lead, train, and supervise production personnel to maintain operational efficiency and discipline.
- Support troubleshooting of process-related issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to plant safety procedures and safe handling of chemicals and process materials.
- Prepare and review production reports, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and report operational performance to management.

Required Experience & Skills
- 8–25 years of experience in chemical manufacturing / process industries, with a strong preference for direct experience in caffeine manufacturing plants.
- Strong understanding of caffeine manufacturing processes, plant operations, process control, and production planning.
- Experience in managing production teams, process optimization, yield improvement, and manufacturing cost control.
- Knowledge of production documentation, SOPs, quality systems, and industrial safety practices.
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, decision-making, and cross-functional coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates currently working or previously employed in caffeine manufacturing facilities will be strongly preferred.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in caffeine production processes and plant-level manufacturing operations are the primary target.
- Experience in chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing may be considered if relevant to caffeine production; however, general chemical or pharma manufacturing experience alone will not be the primary selection criterion.
- Candidates should be comfortable working at the manufacturing facility in Nandesari, Vadodara, Gujarat.
