Job Title: Manager – Mechanical Maintenance

Experience: 8–15 Years in mechanical maintenance, preferably in steel/DRI plants

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities

- Manage overall mechanical maintenance activities of the plant.

- Plan and execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ensure reliable operation of mechanical equipment and machinery.
- Lead maintenance activities for kilns, conveyors, crushers, gearboxes, pumps, compressors, fans, coolers and rotary equipment.

- Prepare maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of jobs.




- Analyze equipment breakdowns and conduct root-cause analysis.
- Maintain critical spare parts and coordinate with Stores & Purchase.

- Monitor maintenance costs and implement cost-reduction measures.
- Coordinate with Production, Electrical, Instrumentation and Safety departments.
- Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures and maintenance standards.

- Manage and guide maintenance engineers, supervisors and technicians.
- Maintain maintenance records, KPIs and MIS reports.
