- The Manager of Finance is responsible for managing all financial aspects of the organization

- This includes financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis
- The role involves ensuring the company's financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and standards
- The Manager of Finance collaborates with other departments to develop financial strategies and provides leadership and guidance to the finance team

Responsibilities

- Financial Planning and Analysis:Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls

- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and financial statements

- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decisions

- Budgeting and Forecasting:Coordinate the budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish annual budgets

- Monitor budget variances and provide explanations for significant discrepancies

- Prepare financial forecasts and models to support long-term planning





- Financial Reporting:Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

- Communicate financial results and insights to senior management and other stakeholders

- Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations

- Manage tax planning and compliance activities

- Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing appropriate strategies and controls

- Cash Management:Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports

- Optimize cash balances and investments to maximize returns

- Team Leadership:Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the finance team

- Foster a positive and team-oriented work environment, encouraging professional growth and development

- Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field

- Masters degree or CPA certification is a plus

- Several years of experience in financial management, accounting, or a related role

- Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and standards

- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills

- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite, especially advanced Excel skills

- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
