Manager - ER&D; (Legal COE) Responsibilities & Key Deliverables - Provide expert legal guidance on employment, labour, and industrial relations matters.Interpret labour laws, regulations, case laws, and assess their impact on organizational policies and practices.

- Review employee-related contracts, agreements, notices, and legal communications.
- Lead and manage labour court, industrial tribunal, conciliation, arbitration, and employment-related legal proceedings.
- Coordinate with external legal counsels for case preparation, strategy, and representation.
- Prepare legal briefs, responses, affidavits, petitions, and supporting documentation.
- Monitor ongoing litigation and provide regular updates on risks, exposure, and case status.
- Develop legal risk mitigation plans based on case trends and precedents.
- Manage misconduct cases, disciplinary actions, and workplace investigations.Conduct or oversee domestic enquiries ensuring compliance with principles of natural justice.
- Support disciplinary committees with legal guidance and documentation.Recommend legally sustainable actions based on investigation outcomes.
- Handle high-risk employee disputes, grievances,



and legal escalations.Support reconciliation, mediation, and settlement discussions where required.
- Manage cases relating to termination, misconduct, workplace harassment, absenteeism, wage disputes, and disciplinary violations.Minimize legal exposure through proactive intervention and resolution. Preferred Industries Manufacturing Automobile Education Qualification LLB (mandatory); LLM General Experience 8-15 Years Critical Experience - Employment Law, Labour Law, Industrial Relations, or Corporate Legal functions.
- Solid experience handling labour courts, industrial tribunals, and employment-related litigation.
- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, engineering, or unionized environments preferred.
- Hands-on experience in domestic enquiries, disciplinary proceedings, and regulatory compliance.
