We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Maintenance Engineer to support the maintenance of machinery, electrical systems, and plant equipment at our Periyapalayam facility. Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
- Assist in maintaining motors, pumps, electrical panels, wiring, and other industrial equipment, as applicable.
- Monitor equipment performance and ensure smooth plant operations.
- Carry out regular inspections to identify potential equipment failures.
- Coordinate with the production team to minimise machine downtime.
- Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and breakdown reports.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and ensure proper use of tools and equipment.
- Assist in the installation, repair, and servicing of machinery.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or ITI in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related engineering trade.
- 02 years of experience in industrial maintenance; freshers can also apply.
- Basic knowledge of machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Willingness to learn and work in a plant/manufacturing environment.
- Positive problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively with the maintenance and production teams.
Preferred Candidate
- Candidates residing in or around Periyapalayam, Tiruvallur, and nearby areas.
- Candidates with hands-on knowledge of electrical or mechanical maintenance will have an advantage.
