Role Description As a Lead Software Engineer at PInterview, you will design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable backend services that power our online interview platform. You will lead a small engineering team, provide technical direction, review code, and ensure best practices in software design, testing, and deployment. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product and design teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions, improving system performance, and integrating third-party services and APIs.

You will also mentor engineers, contribute to architectural decisions,



and help shape our engineering culture and processes. This is a full-time remote role, requiring close collaboration across distributed teams and comfort working independently in a quick-paced environment.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and systems design.
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience delivering production-ready applications.
- Hands-on expertise in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and database design.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams and participating in code reviews.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of security best practices, performance optimization, and scalable architecture for high-traffic web applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Effective communication skills, ability to collaborate in remote, cross-functional teams, and a user-focused mindset.
