Title of Job Senior Data Engineer (AWS & Snowflake)

Summary We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with solid expertise in SQL, Python, AWS, Snowflake, and ETL processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable data pipelines, developing efficient data models, optimizing data processing, and supporting data architecture initiatives to deliver long-term business value.

Responsibilities

- Translate business requirements into effective data models and scalable data engineering solutions.
- Reverse-engineer physical data models from existing databases and SQL scripts.
- Analyze data integration challenges and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
- Support data architecture decisions, including data movement strategies, technology selection, and architecture design.
- Design and implement data pipelines, optimize data processing and storage, ensure performance standards, and collaborate with stakeholders.

Requirements

- 8 years of experience in Data Engineering, with strong hands-on expertise in AWS and Snowflake.
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, subqueries, Common Table Expressions (CTEs), and aggregations.
- Strong programming expertise in Python and experience developing scalable data solutions.




- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, ETL processes, CI/CD, and data modeling concepts, including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
- Good knowledge of AWS services, particularly Amazon S3 and AWS Glue; familiarity with Athena, EMR, and Spark is desirable.
