A Chemistry Lab Assistant supports chemists, lab technicians, and instructors by preparing chemical solutions, setting up laboratory equipment, maintaining glassware, and ensuring strict adherence to safety and waste disposal protocols

Core Responsibilities

- Experiment &
- Lab Setup:

Prepare chemical reagents, standardized solutions, and assemble equipment for student classes or research experiments.

- Equipment &

- Glassware Maintenance:

Wash, dry, sterilize, and distribute laboratory glassware, and perform routine cleaning or calibration of lab instruments.

- Inventory Management: Track stock levels of chemicals and supplies, place reorders, and verify incoming shipments.

- Safety &

- Waste Management:

Store, handle, and dispose of hazardous chemical and sample wastes according to safety regulations.

- Record Keeping: Maintain inventory logs, safety data sheets (SDS), and basic documentation or data entry for test results.

- Supervision &





- Support:

Assist students or junior staff with proper tool usage and monitor adherence to safety guidelines in academic or industrial labs.

- Required Qualifications &

- Skills

- Education: An Associate's degree or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a closely related scientific field.

- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of basic chemical principles, laboratory techniques, and Valuable Laboratory Practices (GLP).

- Safety Compliance: Familiarity with chemical hygiene plans, personal protective equipment (PPE), and hazardous waste protocols.

- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, record-keeping skills, and effective communication

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
