About Tech9Labs
Integrated Tech9Labs Private Limited is an enterprise System Integrator and technology consulting company delivering integrated solutions across Data Center, Cloud, Networking, Cybersecurity and Managed Services. We work with leading OEMs, cloud providers and distribution partners to help enterprises modernize, secure, operate and scale their technology environments.
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to own and expand selected strategic enterprise accounts. The role will focus on building multi-level customer relationships, understanding the customer’s technology landscape, identifying account whitespace and creating opportunities across Data Center, Cloud and Managed Services.
This is an account-growth role within a System Integrator environment. It is not limited to relationship maintenance, renewals, order processing or responding to incoming RFQs. The candidate must proactively identify new stakeholders, workloads, refresh opportunities, competitive replacements and recurring service opportunities within assigned accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Account Ownership
- Own, manage and grow selected strategic enterprise accounts.
- Develop account plans covering stakeholders, business priorities, installed technologies, incumbent OEMs, competition, upcoming projects and decision processes.
- Build strong relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, IT Heads, Infrastructure Heads, Procurement, Finance and business leaders.
- Expand customer engagement across multiple departments, locations and management levels.
- Convert transactional relationships into long-term, multi-technology partnerships.
- Account Mining and Growth
- Identify whitespace and generate opportunities within existing accounts without depending entirely on active RFQs.
- Drive cross-sell and up-sell across Data Center, Cloud, Networking, Cybersecurity, Professional Services and Managed Services.
- Identify technology refresh, modernization, migration, consolidation, lifecycle and competitive replacement opportunities.
- Increase solution penetration, revenue, gross margin and Tech9Labs’ share of wallet within assigned accounts.
- Build a qualified opportunity pipeline through new stakeholders, technologies, projects, workloads and managed-service requirements.
- Data Center Solutions
- Develop opportunities across enterprise compute, servers, storage, HCI and virtualization.
- Position backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, data protection and infrastructure modernization solutions.
- Identify requirements related to data center networking, colocation, consolidation, migration and technology refresh.
- Cloud Solutions
- Drive public, private, hybrid and multi-cloud opportunities.
- Develop cloud migration, modernization, IaaS, backup-as-a-service and disaster-recovery-as-a-service opportunities.
- Position cloud security, governance, cost optimization and managed cloud operations.
- Coordinate workload assessment and migration planning with cloud and solution architecture teams.
- Managed Services
- Identify recurring-revenue opportunities across infrastructure monitoring, NOC, remote infrastructure management and data center operations.
- Position managed cloud, backup and DR management, service desk, AMC, FMS and professional services.
- Work with delivery and service teams to define scope, service levels, transition plans and governance models.
- Support renewal, service expansion and customer-retention initiatives while ensuring service profitability.
- Presales, OEM and Partner Engagement
- Work closely with Presales Architects and technical teams for discovery, assessment, architecture, sizing, BOQ preparation, demonstrations, POCs and technical closure.
- Coordinate with OEMs, cloud providers, distributors and delivery partners for solution positioning, deal registration, pricing and commercial support.
- Conduct customer workshops, technology discussions and solution presentations.
- Manage complex opportunities involving multiple OEMs, platforms and service components.
- Commercial and Sales Governance
- Own revenue, gross margin, pricing, TCO, payment terms, profitability and collections for assigned opportunities.
- Lead commercial negotiations with customers, OEMs, distributors and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate account, stakeholder and opportunity information in the CRM.
- Provide reliable weekly,
monthly and quarterly forecasts, including risks, competition, next steps and closure timelines.
- Track order execution, payment realization and customer satisfaction in coordination with internal teams.
Required Experience and Skills
- 12–18 years of experience in enterprise IT sales or strategic account management, with substantial exposure to a System Integrator environment.
- Proven experience in growing existing enterprise accounts through account mining, cross-selling and up-selling.
- Working knowledge of Data Center, Cloud and Managed Services solutions.
- Ability to understand customer infrastructure environments and translate business priorities into qualified opportunities.
- Strong relationships with enterprise customers, OEMs, cloud providers, distributors and technology partners.
- Experience managing large, complex and multi-OEM solution opportunities.
- Strong commercial understanding of revenue, gross margin, TCO, pricing, payment terms, profitability and collections.
- Experience working with Presales, Solution Architects, Delivery, Finance and OEM teams.
- Strong CRM, account planning, pipeline management and forecasting discipline.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or a related discipline.
- MBA in Sales, Marketing or Business Management is preferred.
- Relevant OEM, data center, cloud or managed-services certifications will be an advantage.
- Existing enterprise relationships across Delhi NCR and North India will be preferred.
Key Performance Indicators
- Revenue and gross margin achieved from assigned accounts.
- Year-on-year account growth and improvement in share of wallet.
- Value of opportunities proactively created from existing accounts.
- Cross-sell and up-sell conversion across Data Center, Cloud and Managed Services.
- Growth in recurring managed-services and cloud revenue.
- Pipeline coverage, forecast accuracy and opportunity conversion.
- Customer retention, repeat business, payment realization and collection performance.
Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate knows the account, maps the technology environment and whitespace, creates opportunities proactively, engages Presales and OEM teams, expands wallet share and develops the customer into a strategic, multi-technology partnership.
