Karate Coach
Level: Middle
Responsibilities
- Teach foundational techniques including stances, blocks, strikes, kicks, kata, and basic self defence appropriate for middle school learners.
- Build students' balance, coordination, flexibility, strength, and endurance through structured warm ups, drills, and conditioning exercises.
- Organize belt assessments, demonstrations, inter house competitions, and school events showcasing student progress.
- Coordinate with PE teachers, activity coordinators, and school leadership to integrate karate into the broader physical education program.
- Maintain attendance, progress records, safety logs, and event reports.
Requirements
- Black belt certification from a recognized karate association.
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field (Preferred).
