About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Golang Developer who is keen to build a strong foundation in backend engineering. You will work alongside our senior engineers on the services, APIs, and data pipelines that power our IoT and data-driven platforms, and you will grow into larger areas of ownership as you build experience.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain backend services using Golang
- Build and support REST and gRPC APIs for large-scale data systems
- Write and optimize PostgreSQL queries and handle database interactions
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams on end-to-end delivery
- Write clean,



testable, and maintainable code, and incorporate feedback from code reviews
- Take part in design discussions and contribute to architecture improvements

Requirements

- 1 to 2 years of backend development experience (internships and substantial project work will be considered)
- Working knowledge of Golang, including a clear understanding of goroutines and channels
- Good understanding of PostgreSQL and relational database fundamentals
- Familiarity with REST API design and Git-based workflows
- Strong problem-solving ability and a willingness to learn quickly
- A sense of ownership over the work you deliver

Preferred Qualifications

- Exposure to Docker and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with message queues such as Kafka or NATS
- Knowledge of gRPC, Node.js, or TypeScript
- Experience with Redis, Prometheus, Grafana, or Kubernetes
- Understanding of CI/CD workflows
- Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced product environment
