Outline Design Studio is a multidisciplinary design practice engaged in architecture, interior design, landscape design, and built-environment projects. We focus on creating thoughtful, functional, aesthetically refined, and context-sensitive design solutions that balance creativity, technical precision, and practical execution.

We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented Junior Architects who are passionate about architectural design, proficient in drafting and modelling software, and eager to contribute to projects from concept development to working drawings and execution.

Job Summary The Junior Architect will work closely with the Principal Architect and senior design team on architectural, interior, and landscape projects. The role involves preparing architectural drawings, developing design concepts, creating 3D models and visualizations, coordinating project documentation, and assisting with site supervision and execution.

The ideal candidate should possess sound architectural knowledge, strong drafting skills, an understanding of construction details, and the ability to translate design concepts into accurate and practical drawings.

Key Responsibilities1. Architectural Design & Development

- Assist in developing architectural concepts, schematic designs, and detailed design proposals.
- Prepare preliminary layouts, floor plans, elevations, sections, and design presentations.
- Develop building plans in accordance with project requirements, site conditions, and applicable building regulations.
- Contribute creative ideas for residential, commercial, institutional, and interior projects.
- Assist in material selection, façade development, finishes, and architectural detailing.
- Incorporate design revisions and client feedback into drawings and presentations.

1. Drafting & Technical Documentation

- Prepare accurate architectural drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop detailed working drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, door-window schedules, and construction details.
- Prepare furniture layouts, reflected ceiling plans, flooring layouts, electrical layouts, and other interior drawings as required.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other consultant drawings.
- Maintain proper drawing standards, layer management, dimensions, annotations, scales, and sheet layouts.
- Ensure drawing accuracy and consistency before submission or issue for construction.

1. 3D Modelling & Visualization

- Develop architectural 3D models using SketchUp.




- Prepare realistic architectural and interior views using available rendering software.
- Assist in developing façade options, interior concepts, material palettes, and presentation views.
- Prepare design presentations, mood boards, and client-facing visual material.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of proportions, materials, lighting, textures, and architectural composition.

1. Interior & Landscape Design Coordination

- Assist in developing interior layouts, furniture arrangements, ceiling designs, wall treatments, and material specifications.
- Support landscape layout development, hardscape planning, and planting design as required.
- Prepare drawings and details for customized furniture, joinery, partitions, doors, ceilings, and other interior elements.
- Coordinate design intent with practical construction requirements and material availability.

1. Site Visits & Execution Coordination

- Visit project sites to understand existing conditions and verify measurements.
- Assist in monitoring ongoing work to ensure conformity with approved drawings and design specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and site teams.
- Identify drawing discrepancies and communicate design clarifications to the senior team.
- Assist in preparing site observations, measurement records, snag lists, and progress updates.
- Support quality checks for materials, finishes, dimensions, and workmanship.

1. Project Management & Teamwork

- Work collaboratively with architects, interior designers, consultants, and project teams.
- Manage assigned tasks and drawing submissions within agreed timelines.
- Maintain organized project files, drawing revisions, and documentation.
- Participate in internal design reviews and project coordination meetings.
- Demonstrate accountability, a willingness to learn, and a professional approach to deadlines and feedback.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized institution.
- 2–5 years of relevant professional experience in an architectural or multidisciplinary design firm.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in SketchUp and architectural 3D modelling.
- Working knowledge of at least one rendering tool, such as Enscape, V-Ray, Lumion, D5 Render, or an equivalent application.
- Understanding of architectural working drawings, construction details, building materials, and construction methods.




- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and services drawings.
- Good design sense, spatial understanding, and attention to detail.
- Effective communication, coordination, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating with the design team.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in residential, commercial, institutional, or office interior projects.
- Knowledge of Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other presentation and documentation tools.
- Familiarity with building bylaws, local development regulations, and approval drawing preparation.
- Experience with BOQs, material specifications, quantity calculations, and tender documentation.
- Exposure to site execution, contractor coordination, and preparation of as-built drawings.
- A well-organized architectural portfolio demonstrating design development, technical drawings, and completed or ongoing projects.
