Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant role based in Navi Mumbai.

The Junior

Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable. The role involves preparing basic financial reports, reconciling bank statements, and helping ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant accounting standards.

Accountant will collaborate with the finance team to support month-end closing activities and assist with documentation for audits and tax filings.



The position also requires accurate data entry, maintaining organized financial records, and working closely with other departments to resolve accounting queries.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in accounting principles, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and basic financial reporting.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks or similar) and Microsoft Excel for data handling and analysis.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical ability, and a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications in accounting or taxation are an advantage.
- Understanding of GST, TDS, and other basic Indian taxation and compliance requirements is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Navi Mumbai, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks in a rapid-paced environment.
