Java Lead

Pune / Chennai / Bangalore | Full time | 9-12 years

Altimetrik is hiring a Java Lead to drive the design and delivery of microservices-based solutions while guiding and mentoring a team of engineers.

What you’ll do

- Lead the design and development of scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Define architecture and technical approach for REST API and Kafka-based event-driven solutions
- Guide, mentor and review the work of developers to maintain code quality
- Own technical delivery, from requirements through deployment, within timelines
- Resolve complex technical issues and drive performance optimization
- Coordinate with product owners, architects and stakeholders on scope and progress

What we’re looking for

- 9-12 years of experience in Java development, including team lead or technical lead experience
- Strong expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture
- Proven experience designing and building REST APIs
- Hands-on experience with Kafka and event-driven systems
- Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Candidates based in Pune, Chennai or Bangalore preferred

Pay: Up to ₹2,500,000.00 per year
