Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Lead/Manager to lead end-to-end execution of large Government System Integration (SI) projects. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in project planning, implementation, stakeholder management, OEM/vendor coordination, and ensuring timely delivery of IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, cloud, and application projects for Central/State Government departments, PSUs, or BFSI organizations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the complete lifecycle of Government SI projects from project initiation to closure.
- Prepare and manage project plans, milestones, resource allocation, risk registers, and project budgets.
- Coordinate with Government clients, consultants, OEMs, implementation partners, and internal delivery teams.
- Ensure delivery of projects within scope, timelines, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Manage implementation of Infrastructure, Network, Data Centre, Cloud, Cyber Security, and Application projects.




- Conduct regular project review meetings and submit weekly/monthly status reports to management and clients.
- Ensure compliance with RFP, Purchase Order, SLA, and contractual commitments.
- Coordinate procurement, logistics, installation, commissioning, testing, UAT, and Go-Live activities.
- Manage client escalations and ensure timely resolution.
- Track project financials including revenue recognition, invoicing, collections, change requests, and project profitability.
- Coordinate with PMO for project governance and documentation.
- Ensure proper documentation including HLD/LLD, ATP, FAT, SAT, UAT, Sign-off Certificates, Asset Registers, Warranty Documents, and Project Closure Reports.
- Lead cross-functional teams comprising Project Managers, Engineers, Developers, Security Specialists, and Support Teams.

Government Project Experience

- Experience working on projects for Government Departments, PSUs, Smart Cities, NICSI, GeM, Defence, Banking, or e-Governance initiatives.
- Good understanding of Government procurement processes, RFPs, bidding, and contract management.

Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech (Computer Science/IT/Electronics) or MCA.
