Founded in 2020 by IIT-BHU graduates Akash Gupta, Abhinav Roy, and Ankit Joshi, we are today rapidly scaling and deploying our tech across 2W and 3W segments with plans to enter 4W and commercial vehicles as well. The team comprises multiple IIT, IIM graduates and industry professionals and we are backed by some of the leading Indian VCs.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Team Lead – IQC (Mechanical) responsible for managing incoming inspection activities, ensuring component quality as per specifications, and driving supplier quality improvement. The role will also support NPD, Incoming Inspection Planning, MSA, and PIST activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in Automotive / EV / Auto Ancillary manufacturing preferred.
- Exposure to IATF 16949:2016 and automotive quality core tools.
- Experience in NPD / APQP / PPAP is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead daily IQC Mechanical inspection and ensure timely material clearance.




- Develop Incoming Inspection Plans for current and existing components.
- Support NPD with inspection requirements, critical characteristics, gauges, and acceptance criteria.
- Prepare and maintain PIST reports and inspection records.
- Conduct and support MSA studies for inspection gauges and measuring systems.
- Identify and control incoming defects and non-conforming materials.
- Coordinate with Supplier Quality, NPD, Engineering, Purchase, and Production for quality issue resolution.
- Drive supplier corrective actions through NCR / 8D / Root Cause Analysis.
- Monitor supplier PPM, rejection trends, and defect Pareto.
- Train and develop IQC inspectors on inspection methods and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, Control Plan, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, and PPAP requirements.

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of mechanical inspection, engineering drawings, and GD&T.;
- Hands-on knowledge of measuring instruments and dimensional inspection.
- Good understanding of MSA, PIST, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, and 8D.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and team leadership skills.

Education:

- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engineering or related field.

Location: Near Chakan, Pune, India (on-site)

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
