Before the Bell is a pre-IPO deal desk for Indian family offices/AIF Cat 2 Funds.

Every company on the Before The Bell desk is profitable, private and on a path to a main-board listing, and each is checked by our bankers and CAs before an office sees it. Approved offices sign an NDA, read the same structured deal room for every company, put questions to the promoter and request allocations. We are looking for the person who owns those offices.

What you will do

- Own the relationship with every registered family office, AIF, other investors: their mandate, ticket size, sectors and how they decide
- Bring 50 current principals, CIOs and CFOs onto the desk in your first two months, from your network and ours
- Walk an office through each new company within a week of it going live, and get their questions to the promoter
- Run promoter sessions with the analyst and the banker on the deal
- Turn interest into allocation requests, and requests into signed documents,



alongside the deal team
- Keep an honest record of what each office wants and what it passed on, so the desk brings the right companies

- What you bring

- 2–5 years in private wealth, a family office, an IPO syndicate desk, or PE fundraising in India
- Principals in India who take your call
- Comfort reading a P&L;, a cap table and a draft offer document, and explaining a valuation against listed peers
- Judgement about what can and cannot be said about an unlisted company, and when to stop selling
- NISM certifications are a plus
