Investment Banking Analyst, Industrial

Position Overview:

As an Analyst in our Investment Banking team, you will play a critical role in executing transactions and providing financial advisory services for clients on India domestic deals. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on high-profile deals, develop key relationships with clients, work with the globally renowned Jefferies Infrastructure sector team and contribute to the growth and success of our investment banking franchise in India.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop complex financial analysis, valuation, and modeling to support deal execution
- Manage due diligence processes, communications and interaction with deal team members and other advisors
- Perform comprehensive and in-depth industry and market research, and company analysis within infrastructure industry
- Assist in the preparation of pitch materials, presentations, and marketing materials for client meetings
- Collaborate with senior team members in deal origination, structuring, and negotiation




- Support the execution of cross-border mergers and acquisitions, IPOs and capital raising activities, and other financial transactions

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related disciplines (Advanced degree being favorable but not required)
- 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields, working on Industrial transactions
- Solid financial modeling and valuation skills
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Fluency in English is a must
