We’re Hiring: Inventory & Warehouse Operations Manager

Location: Neb Sarai, New Delhi | Full-time, on-site

Salary: Up to ₹75,000 per month, depending on experience

Experience: Preferably 7–12 years in manufacturing inventory and warehouse operations

About the role

SOFTSPUN is looking for a hands-on manager to take ownership of physical inventory, warehouse organisation, stock accuracy and timely dispatch. The role requires daily involvement on the factory and warehouse floors, with strong control over material movement from fabric rolls through cutting, stitching, packing and finished goods.

Key responsibilities

- Maintain accurate stock records for fabric rolls, cut pieces, stitched goods, packed pouches and finished cartons.
- Establish clear warehouse locations and ensure every stock movement is recorded.
- Implement barcode controls so scans identify material, quantity, box contents and storage location.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical stock audits; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with production and packing teams to meet order requirements and dispatch deadlines.
- Track stock availability, shortages, pending production and incoming shipments.




- Work with Purchase and Accounts on replenishment planning to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
- Supervise warehouse staff and inventory assistants; simplify procedures for shop-floor workers.
- Maintain daily reports covering stock variances, ageing inventory, shortages and pending dispatches.
- Support ERP implementation and reconcile physical stock with system records.

Candidate requirements

- Proven experience independently managing manufacturing inventory and warehouse operations.
- Robust understanding of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods.
- Practical experience with ERP systems, barcode scanning and Excel.
- Ability to investigate stock mismatches and establish reliable controls.
- Strong team supervision, follow-through and coordination skills.
- Textile, garment, home furnishing or consumer goods experience preferred.
- A reliable daily commute to Neb Sarai is essential.
