Role & Responsibilities

- Understand project requirements, specifications, and functional requirements.
- Assist senior QA team members in preparing and executing manual test cases.
- Perform functional, UI, usability, and regression testing of web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and report bugs with clear steps to reproduce.
- Retest reported bugs after fixes and verify that the issues are resolved.
- Perform basic exploratory testing to identify unexpected issues.
- Verify application functionality from an end-user perspective.
- Maintain proper records of test cases, test results, and reported defects.
- Participate in requirement discussions, QA meetings, and project reviews.
- Communicate testing progress, issues, and observations to the QA team and developers.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or pursuing a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.




- Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Basic knowledge of different types of software testing, including Functional, Regression, UI, and Smoke Testing.
- Basic understanding of test cases, test scenarios, and bug reporting.
- Familiarity with issue-tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar tools is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies.
- Ability to think from an end-user perspective.
- Positive communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Strong interest in software quality and software testing.
