Digital - SEO Internship

We're looking for a motivated SEO Intern to join our marketing team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with search engine optimization strategies, tools, and analytics while working alongside experienced digital marketers.

Responsibilities

- Assist in conducting keyword research and competitive analysis

- Support on-page SEO optimization, including meta titles, descriptions, and header tags

- Help identify and fix technical SEO issues (site speed, broken links, crawl errors)

- Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console

- Assist with link-building outreach and content promotion strategies

- Support content team with SEO-friendly writing guidelines

- Track and report on keyword rankings and organic traffic trends

- Conduct competitor SEO audits

- Assist with local SEO efforts (if applicable), such as Google Business Profile optimization





- Stay up to date on search engine algorithm updates and SEO best practices

Requirements

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

- Basic understanding of SEO principles and how search engines work

- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz is a plus

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a rapid-paced environment

Nice to Have

- Experience with HTML/CSS basics

- Familiarity with content management systems (WordPress, Shopify, etc.)

- Prior coursework or certifications in digital marketing or SEO
